Meet the Morgans

Susie and Charles Morgan warmly invite you to experience their serene retreat on the banks of the Little Red River in Heber Springs, Arkansas.

Charles Morgan is a visionary business leader and entrepreneur with a legacy of transforming industries through innovation and determination. As the former Chairman and CEO of Acxiom Corporation, Charles led the company’s growth from a small Arkansas-based operation with 25 employees to a global leader in data and technology with over 7,000 employees and $1.5 billion in revenue. Following his success at Acxiom, Charles brought his expertise to First Orion, a cutting-edge provider of call protection and data solutions, where he also served as Chairman and CEO. A lifelong tech enthusiast and gadget aficionado, he has also pursued professional racing, building and driving race cars, as well as flying jets and racing motorcycles. Beyond his corporate achievements, Charles is a published author, sharing his journey in two books: Matters of Life and Data (2015) and Now What: The Biography of a (Finally) Successful Startup (2019). With a passion for innovation and community, Charles continues to inspire others while enjoying life alongside his wife, Susie, and their family in Arkansas.

Susie Morgan began her career in sales and marketing and has since become a dedicated philanthropist and community leader. Known for her passion and vision, she has raised awareness and support for numerous causes. Susie serves as Chair of the Miss Arkansas Scholarship Foundation and has chaired the Miss Arkansas Golf Classic for many years.
